Honor Choice Moecen review: Best TWS earphones under Rs 3,000?

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Honor Choice Moecen is available for Rs 2,999.
  • The TWS earphones offer a balanced sound.
  • They come with an in-ear design which is also very lightweight.

2020 has been the year of truly wireless (TWS) earphones. Despite facing serious disruptions to the supply and manufacturing chain, the biggest brands have been able to launch a number of TWS earphones across the year. In fact, the competition has been so intense in the segment that we've not only seen TWS earphones being announced at upper and mid-range price points but also at the entry-level -- a price bracket that had previously been left vacant to allow for wired and neckband style earphones to battle it out for the end user's money.

Back in October, Honor also launched a pair of TWS earphones in India in the form of the Choice Moecen. These came as affordable true wireless earphones for buyers who do not want to compromise either on style, price, or sound quality. In India, this in-ear style earbud were launched at Rs 2,999 and a quick look at Flipkart and Amazon would tell you that they are still available for purchase at the same price in the country.

We've had the chance to spend some time with the new Honor TWS earphones. Here's what we think about them.'

iPhone 12 mini review: Small, fast and perfect for some users

HIGHLIGHTS The iPhone 12 Mini has a 5.4-inch screen and a compact design. It shares core hardware with the other iPhone 12 series phones. The Apple iPhone 12 mini has been priced at Rs 69,990 in India. On these pages, we earlier reviewed the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Today, we complete our roundup of the iPhone 12 series with this review of the iPhone 12 mini, the baby phone in the pack. Or as some would call it, the pocket rocket of the iPhone world, given how it shares its hardware with the other iPhone series phones. In fact, when it comes to the core hardware, the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 mini are similar, except the size and a couple of parts like the screen, battery and - something I found while using the 12 mini - the stereo speakers. In other words, what Apple is proposing with this phone is this: if you want a top-end smartphone but in a size that is closer to your old iPhone like the iPhone 7 or iPhone 5s, in 2020 the iPhone 12 mini...

Nokia 2.4 review: All about good cameras, powerful battery, and stock Android

HIGHLIGHTS Nokia 2.4 comes with a HD+ display that is big enough for movie watching. Performance is a bit mixed but you will get through most multitasking jobs. Nokia 2.4 has a solid battery life and its cameras are equally good. If you have recently been hearing about Nokia phones more than you did during the rest of the year, it is because HMD Global got super-active since the past few weeks. It has been launching some smartphones globally but only some of them have reached the Indian market. The latest one is Nokia 2.4. It is an essential upgrade over the Nokia 2.3, which sort of takes things forward while giving a set of upgraded specifications to customers. Nokia smartphones are about the Android experience, something that the company prides itself in. It is away from the war over specifications but that is good only as far as marketing, because when you are in the marketing spending that money specifications do help you form a decision. This is probably the reason why Nokia...
